The design of an optimum hydrometeorological and hydrometric station network constitutes a key factor for the collection comprehensive reliable flow data that are necessary both decision making in water resources policy management, risk assessment. This article describes methodology developed geographic information system (GIS) using multicriteria (MCDM) approach, which combines several spatial criteria to propose suitable locations installation such Sarantapotamos River Basin western part Attica Region, Greece.
